Commercial shot with XL1
A commercial will air tomorrow on a local cable channel that was shot with an XL1. Most were still photos provided by the client but the opening and ending were done entirely with the XL1.
Here's a compressed version of the spot. Both Quicktime 4 and RealPlayer formats: http://www.dcsmedia.com/graham_spot.html The last shot is actually a composite done with Commotion. We were stuck with a grey sky. Commotion let me change it into a much cheerier blue.

Nice work!
Looks good, dc_sensui. The blue sky does the trick (can't have gray skies in paradise).
I haven't looked at Commotion yet. Seeing what you've done has me interested in it now. |

I got interested in Commotion when I started looking for something that could do the sort of composites in video that I do with still images in Photoshop. After Effects shares a lot of similar features but Commotion's rotosplines are indispensible when it comes to a situation like this one.
I've only started working with it and have barely scratched the surface. What it can do is impressive.
