Yes. . .Ebay is evil. I got screwed there, though it was partly (hell probably mostly) my fault. Bite the bullet and buy from a real store.

I don't know... I got alot of really cool stuff off Ebay, and only been burned once. I also take time to read the feedback on the person, and if it's bad, I go elsewhere.

Hi All,
Does anyone have any experience buying from Amazon Marketplace where they say they will guarantee your purchase up to $2500 if the merchandise is misrepresented? Thanks! -SL |

Hi,
there is a difference between price and cost. The price is the initial value set for the item. The cost is what you will end up paying in the long run. The cost includes shipping, returns, frustration, lost time etc. Don't be "penny wise and pound foolish". Get down to a reputable store, pay a little more (that's the sellers way of recovering all the after service costs they incur, when we do stupid things and they have to help out etc.). There is a reason mostly for paying more...you get what you pay for. This sounds kinda hard when on a tight budget but wait to see how hard your budget gets hit when you get taken. Measure the COST and not the PRICE. Cheers Andrew

Andrew's superb advice above is an excellent reason to go with our DV Info Net Sponsors. They are without a doubt the best in the business and well worth the extra two dollars.
