Got My XL1s Back from Canon Repair... :(
And THIS is how UPS treated my Box!

I am quite furious... I called Canon to complain... they told me to call UPS... UPS is coming to check it out but the rep said they won't do anything unless there is some visible damage to the camera. (it turns on? yup it works... bye...) Basically I want it shipped back to Irvine to be checked out... make sure nothing got knocked out of whack internally... I personally feel I sholdnt have to pay for that... I just paid $331.53 just to have the focus problem fixed and the firewire plug replaced... You would think they could have at least packed it better! rant off.... David |

David, how did UPS ship it? Not by ground, I hope? I always ship both ways by overnight; because the less time a package is in transit, the less chance there is for damage.

Canon shipped it UPS ground... stayed over the weekend at some warehouse as well... :(
Thats one thing I make sure.. not to ship anything over the weekend... |
