Bags & Rain Hoods.
In the UK, KATA rainhoods are about $160, the bags for the XL1s nearer $400. Seeing as I am coming to the US on my honeymoon next month should I hold fire and get them on my travels?
Also (stupid limey question number 2), is a Sears Truck Tote bag, recommended on previous postings any good? Is it about the same as a Lowepro Vidcam 6? Also (SLQ No. 7), any good suppliers in either New Orleans, Las Vegas, San Diego or San Francisco anyone would recommend? Many thanks, B. |

I'm not sure which cover your looking for, but the RC-11 cover, made for the XL1 is usually under $100 over here. Most KATA bags are under $300 for the XL1. So it looks like you can save some money. LA is only an hour or so drive from San Diego and will probably offer the best selection of gear.
