My only other advise is to overnight it, insure it for all it's worth and CYA in whatever way you feel is best.
I am such a stickler when it comes to stuff like this. I captured video while the camera was malfunctioning for later comparison if needed. I took photos of every stage of packing in case anything was contested. My biggest fear is they would call me saying, "We can't find any problems," or "Because it was poorly packed, _______ broke." I called the OK CANON number yesterday to have the free box sent to me. Just like you guys told me, the back-focus issue will be fixed with the $85 maintenance service. Both cams are almost 2 years old so I'm sure they need the tune-up anyway.
