3-D xl1
Someone, obviously a big XL1 fan, has a lot of time, and a lot of talent.
http://www.turbosquid.com/HTMLClient...on/FullPreview I'm just posting this for the novelty of it.

Actually, a fellow posted here in the past year or so asking where he could get dimensions for the XL1. His goal was to build a 3-d model of it. I wonder if this is the same fellow.

And there I was thinking that someone actually was using the 3D lens for the XL1...or did I just dream that such a thing existed?!!

Should we drive him crazy and start asking for the other lenses to be modeled. Then the MA-100. The MA-200. And what about a matte box? No not that one, we want the one with rods!
It does look like very nice work. Perhaps it will lead good things to him, rather like the fellow that built the opening animation for Lady X Films getting a job with the Brazilian network even before our series opened.

The Canon 3D lens
The 3D model looks pretty neat. It was made in LightWave so that's nice for compatability. He should sell this to Canon!
