BeachTek XLR
Does anyobody have experience using the BeachTek XLR adaptor for the XL1s? Any problems? Complaints? Praises?

Please, do a search about the Beachtek DXA-4C adaptor. This subject have been discussed on many past threads with pros and cons and some comparisons versus others adaptors availables on the market, like the Canon MA-100 / MA-200.

I have the DXA-6 and use it with a variety of mics including those
requiring phantom power. I love it and so does Jay Rose of DV mag. As always, your mileage may vary.

I have a DXA4-C.. for all the trouble that aquiring 4 channel audio is, off of the tape (at least for me, scenalyzer doesnt work properly, and i've tested it now on multiple machines, and i dont consider myself 'computer illiterate' hehe), i am not as happy with it as i would like to be. That said, for running XLR into single input on the XL1.. it's still very useful.

Honestly Adam, you are the first person I heard of that has had this much trouble with scenalyzer....what a shame...it work first time for me in demo mode and has never failed since.....
