I'm no lens wizard at all, but maybe photoshops have all kind
of stepdown rings?

I'm no wizard either, but common sense would say that you'll get vignetting when using a wide angle adaptor that has a smaller diameter than your filter size, especially in the case of a .45x adaptor.

Now I have a Titanium .45x adaptor for my PDX-10 which I like a lot. However, that's a 37mm lens which is a whole different thing... :-)

Indeed... Normally stepdown rings are used for a larger lens
to a smaller size ofcourse.

Would zooming in help then? (which might reduce the wide
angle effect ofcourse)....
