Canon xl1s weather cover
can anyone suggest the best cover for the xl1s for winter weather, to be used primarily as a handheld cam?

foul weather cover for xl1
has anyone got some feedback on he best all weather cover for the xl1s? This would be used in low tempatures, say 20 deg. and below, as well as rain and snow.

I would keep the batteries warm (in my pocket), for starters. A cheap way of protecting the cam/keeping it warm for a while is to wrap in Saran Wrap. You can also tape an umbrella to your tripod or set up a canopy, or shoot from your car.

The only real winter cover I know of is the Porta Brace Polar Bear cover. There is an XL1 model, but it's not cheap.

Do a search on weather, underwater and things like that. The
subject has been discussed quite a lot on the forum already. Thanks.
