Audio 2 Problem
Using the XL1S Audio 2 input, i get perfect sound from C.D player radio etc. but when i try to receive a signal from my Sennheiser cordless microphone, i have to turn the volume control up to maximum on both the headphone, and the Audio 2 control dials on the camera body, before i hear even a slight whisper. I'm using 12 bit stereo/ 1 & 2 channels. When i connect the Sennheiser, to the on board mic. socket the sound is perfect. I'm using an adapter cable from the Sennheiser 3.5 jack to a 2 pin which i plug into the Audio 2 socket. I thought this cable might be deffective, but it plays C.D / Radio etc fine. I've tried changing the set up in the menu from Mic/Line/ Att.20 etc. still very very faint. Can any kind soul help me?

You probably need to go to the menu and set the Audio 2 In setting to mic (or perhaps MIC ATT20) level. it probably is at line now.
