Green Line To the Left
I'm sure this has been discussed, but I can't find it. I'm new to the XL1s and seem to have a problem when capturing onto my computer. There is a very prominent green stripe on the left side of the image. It's always there in bright light and in dark situations. I've read some on stripes that appear due to lighting, don't think this is my problem. However, when the camera is played direct onto a big screen tv there is no line. To add to my frustration, I've noticed on the dvd 'Ultimate Guide to the XL1s' the same green line is in some shots. Leaving me to resolve that I'm not alone, but still errked. Yes I'm a newbie and totally a FNG, hehe. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks, Buddy G.

The green line is probably in the "overscan" area of the image, and thus not visible on a normal TV receiver, but it often will be visible on a computer monitor.
Try a search on overscan. You should be able to crop it in post if necessary.
