DC out on XL-1
Sorry for the dumb question but I have found a DC out port on my XL-1. The owners manual shows this port but does not explain it. will it run DC power to an accessory such as a on camera monitor.
If so where can I get a cable that will plug into the DC out and into the cable to run my varizoom monitor? I use the AC adapter to power up the monitor at this time. I have considered getting a battery for the varizoom but I do have good camera batterys and most of the time I power the camera Via AC power. Any suggestions? Thanks Joe |

Are you talking about the little round connector beside audio 1 in/out? If so, this DC out can only be used to power the MA-100 or MA-200 shoulder support / XLR adapter. You can't use it for anything else.
