Live Video Delay?
Hello there fellow DV folks,
I am looking at using 3 XLH1's for a live video feed application, image magnification. The video will be sent HD-SDI into a switcher and then back out to the projectors feeding the worship center where our pastor will be speaking. My question is this: is anybody using their XLH1 in a similar manner? Any cautions with doing this? And here's the main question - is there any significant delay in such a system that would cause lip sync issues? The XLH1 seems to be an affordable solution since it has both genlock and HD-SDI capabilities. Thanks for your help in this matter, any info that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again |

Ron we did this about a year ago and had no problems or oticible delays with lip sync. One of our camera's had trouble holding time code, but that was it.
