Anyone in NYC with a PAL H1
Long story short. I have 3 tapes shot with a PAL h1 in europe and I need to convert them to NTSC. None of the facilities contacted can deal with these tapes. One has said that if I digitize them in FCP and give them the PAL files they can then give me NTSC stuff back.. So I'm looking for someone in NYC with a PAL enabled H1 that will either rent me their camera for a day, or digitize these three tapes for me.

Mark,
I didn't get my Canon XLH1 modified for Pal yet but I could if necessary. Was the tape recorded at 25F. If it was at 50i then it should playback on a Pal capable Sony machine.HTH |
