Any good UK sites to buy this camera?

Does anybody have any links to good affordable suppliers in the UK?
Not only for the camera but also for other goodies?

Im told that:

www.b-hague.co.uk

Are good but they dont do the canon. Any links or advice very appreciated.

Andy.

Andy,

Unless I miss read your other thread you specifically requested details for jib's and rails amongst other items The Hauge link was for that request, not cameras.
I would suggest you start looking at H Prestons for cameras and then work from there. I'm sure if you do searches on this forum for specific items you will find the answers you want. You must remember at this level you may have to shop at different places for kit that you require.

yes sorry for the double post. H presons had some good prices on there site.

The canon = £5,164
canon wide angle lens £899
Vocas dv Matte box mk11 £450

and from www.b-hague.co.uk
Peli Had case £130
Jib Hauge k14 £499
Hauge tripod dolly £250 + case £100

Total £7,490 not bad really, not sure i need much else. As i have mentioned, i have always used a sony z1, which i always hired, but decided to get my own kit. I have the usual shotgun mics and manfrotto tripod. I do need lighting but will just hire that i think, would also like some info on what filters i should get to protect the lenses, or other little accsessories you feel might be useful.

For the actual camera you can try the following UK sites:

http://www.creativevideo.co.uk
£5,286.33 inc VAT

http://www.proav.co.uk
£5,111.25 inc VAT

http://www.videokit.co.uk
Price Inc Vat £ 5164.00

Those sites do a lot of other stuff such as Matte Boxes and lenses. I highly recommend the Hague Tripod Dolly, I use mine with an XL1S and it works a treat!

As for filters, all depends what you want to use them for, but a UV filter is an essential, just to protect the lens.
