Shooting 1:1 Macro video on XL H1
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience shooting 1:1 Macro video footage on a Canon XL H1. If so can you describe specifics about the lens/adapter used to achieve the desired effect? Was the quality satisfactory?
Thanks in advance for any input. Mario A. Salinas 818/209-8643 |

Maro,
I have used a Sigma 150mm 1:1 macro f/2.8 and ef-adapter with Canon XL2. I will guess that you get a better footage with the XLH1. Look at a macro sample at: http://www.video-film.no/snutter/mikrokosmos.html (sorry text in Norwegian only)

I've done it with the 105 mm Micro Nikkor with good results
