No Pulldown Workaround
I have discovered that by using Aspect HD (which can be had for a two week trial) you can capture via firewire, capture an .m2t file, then use MPEG Streamclip to convert it into a Quicktime of your choice. No pulldown ever added, no removal necessary. Of course, there is the added step of converting it in MPEG Streamclip, but it works very well.

there's no pulldown in the firewire stream to begin with, so there's nothing to reverse or remove.
all you need is a free apple utility called dvhscap from the apple developers kit. no need to own a pc or buy aspect hd. |
