Canon XLH1 Price Drop?

Hello, I'm currently an owner of an XL2 (Love my baby)... However, I'm getting somewhat tired of shooting low res footage. Do you think the price of the h1 will drop dramatically after the Red's release? Should I go ahead and buy and H1 now, or hold off for the time being?

What is the current price on XL H1 in U.S.? about 9.000 USD. Red with lens is about 23.000 USD - I don't think the Red will have a huge impact on XL H1 or other HDV camera prices.

If you bargain with B&H you can get it for 8,000. I did.
