You know, the monitor aspect of this is a good point.. additionally, so is how you view the footage..
I've found that if I view footage (thru the Sony 10) using the S-Video out (which is what I do when capturing footage) it looks like crap. But that same footage viewed thru the output of the BlackMagic card using component out on an the same monitor looks terrific... |

What about the contrast issue? I am just beginning to learn to tweak this camera, but coming from a film background I find many instances of very low contrast.
I have also read that using the viewfinder to monitor color can be a dangerous thing, which is sort of scary because I do not shoot plugged into anything. |
