H1 lens on XL2?
Just to throw a wrench in the mix, does the HD 20x work on an XL2?
anyone been brave enough to try it yet? I realize if it works you will lose features like focus/zoom presets etc. Do you think there would be any difference in quality? just a hypothetical |

Greg - did you actually notice much visual image difference between footage captured using both SD and HD 20X lenses bayoneted to the XL2?
A second question: Did you notice much difference in handling performance and image quality of footage shot with the H1 using both SD and HD 20x lenses (in both SD and HD modes)? |

I guess most of the answers to my questions are in the Texas shootout. I have looked at it once, but can't find it again. Chris, do you have a link to the Texas shootout?

Not yet on DV Info Net, Tony... but a big compilation is on its way... meanwhile the best Texas Shootout article to be found is from Adam Wilt over at www.dv.com -- you'll need to register there but it's free.
