My apologies for only getting back to you now, I've been on a shoot in Mozambique and only returned last night. I haven't tried to capture tracks 3 and 4 yet, I've been told that it can be done but can't tell you how. I would suggest using the help feature in FCP, might give you more information. Africa does have it's charms... the footage that I got in Mozambique is phenomenal! I'm on my way to Zimbabwe right now, will be back on the 5th of next month, maybe I can post some stills of the footage so that everyone could have a look...

Thanks to you both...
Didi & Johan,
Thanks to you both for the help, and keeping this topic alive. Johan, I too am unable to figure out how to get 3/4 into FCP. If anyone knows how this CAN be accomplished I would greatly appreciate their wisdom. In the meantime, I ain't shootin' 4 channels... Thanks! |

Capturing four channels with Final Cut is actually a separate topic, best asked on our Final Cut for HDV forum.
