Wafian rental
While it doesn't really sound like a purchase item for most of us it does sure seem like a wafian would be a handy item at a cheaper price. What would going rate be for something like the wafian $500 a day? Am I the only person who thinks that perhaps renting the wafian wouldn't be a bad deal.
Combine a wafian, a mini 35 at 300 a day, and an xl-h1 and you've got pretty good looking HD captured and editable, for around the same cost as a typical f900 rental. Am I off base with this? Maybe there really is no market for it. What do you guys think?

Nik, you may have seen the firestore offer at the sticky at the top of this section,
I was under the impression that the wafian could record either .mov or .avi, I'm a mac guy too, hopefully it would be switchable.

From what I understand Cineform will be offering full Quicktime support soon. However, you'll need to be on an Intel based Mac to use it as the codec uses specific intruction sets found on Intel processors.
