Wow, nice. It's about time! I remember drooling over the nice pullout of the XL2 they had. I'm so surprised it's taken them this long to get this out. Canon is funny...only now do adv's seem to be rolling out. They are definitely not a "big release" type of company, I guess, like Apple and others.

Glad this is finally out. Hope to see it in some mags soon.

Formatting fault on Page 3 - can it be got from anywhere else as I would like to print a copy as well as look at it? Can only find it's predecessor on line.

Open the new brochure in a browser window, and you'll get that error on Page 3. Save it to your local drive and open it from there, and the error seems to have disappeared. At least it did for me, and I'm able to print without problems.

Still no good. Multiple computers, printers and networks and your tips all tried but Page 3 results in an error around the CCD images and won't print beyond page 3 without image errors. Using Acrobat 7.05 and 7.08 with no success. WinXP SP2 plus fixes. The error in the file just stops printing in its tracks and I can't find this version on Canon's websites.

Scrolling through the page results in the whole page going blank. Just have to look rather than print, even if Page 3 is incompleted.

This happens even when choosing "save target as" instead of opening directly? Try right-clicking and save the file first to your local drive, then open it once it's been downloaded. Also try upgrading to the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Tried everything I can think of - Page 3 comes up with a drawing error and fails to load the top image correctly or not at all. Home PC's, Works PC's, IE6, Firefox, you name it all on different networks and versions but the same thing happens. Printers all come up with an error stating 'insufficient data for image' and won't print. Top of P3 is the problem. Page 3 goes blank when scrolling, and gives 'drawing error'. It's really annoying me now so I'm determined to get to the bottom of it!! I hate being beaten by a machine. Cant be coz I'm outside the US and there's coding on it - surely not.

Sent you a PM

Rick

Strange that it's not working for you. I just checked to make sure, and I get no drawing errors or any errors when I get to and go past Page 3. All 18 pages come up fine for me, except for when I open it in the browser. Both IE and Firefox give an error on Page 3.
