Firestore FS-4HD-PRO + Quicktime 24
I'm having trouble wading through all the conflicting information about the Firestore drive and it's compatibility with the H1 and Quicktime in 24F mode.
Does the FS-4HD record Canon's 24F mode to Quicktime 24? |

Robert,
Last time I checked this the answer was no. HDV seems to get recorded as an M2T file which has to be played around with in order to get into Quicktime 24. I could be wrong. Also I don't think the timecode is the same as on tape. DV is different than HDV. Dan |

As Daniel stated, M2T is the format, without timecode unfortunately. Shannon Ralws made a topic about this here in the XL-H1 section of the forum.
