Not sure if you will call Century a better solution quite yet. In my research they have blessed their new .8X HD wide angle but it needed an adapter ring. Which may be ready soon. Look for an updated .7X HD in a few months. Most likely more expensive than the 16x9 model. Still cheaper than any HD lens Canon will come out with

Perhaps,
But I liked the amount of curvature that came with a .7 as opposed to a .8. Perhaps I will try for a switch & see |

I agree with you about the curvature which is why I haven't rushed out to get the .8X. Also I was waiting to see the adapter ring. I know am am eventually going to get an adapter but I have been trying to avoid buying it twice. |
