Where's the work?

It's been some three months since the XL-H1 and I'm just curious to know if there is any work that's been produced with it, specifically a narrative short film at 24p or F if you prefer. As a potential buyer, I would find it immensley helpful to see what the finished product would look like, I notice on this forum there is a lot of tech talk, but where is the work? Is it all underwraps? I'm curious to see what people are producing with this camera, see how these projects stack up with the work that's being done for the JVC. It seems to me that there is not whole lot of work coming out of the community right now, perhaps again it's all being kept under wraps. Maybe for educational/purchasing descion purposes, one of the administrators could create and promote a forum that features THE WORK, which is after all what we're after at the end of the day... just a thought. LINKS!!!!! PLEAZZZE!

Bruce, "the work" is being done, but there's one problem...it's HD! I just shot an Opera that is 2 hours long. You want to host that file? :-)

There are bunches of clips around, but you're not going to see too many full pieces. File sizes are huge. Until HD DVD's come out, there aren't many ways to see the work in full rez.

By the way, the camera is awesome. If you're in Raleigh, come on by...

Hello Raleigh!

Kevin-

I'm in Winston-Salem. Hard to find people around here who are shooting with the H1. Can you contact me at <crawfordw@ncarts.edu >? I'd like to ask you a few questions about your experiences with the camera.

Thanks-

Wayne Crawford

Bruce maybe others are in the same situation as my group, they shot a feature in january but are waiting to get an easier post solution, (for a bunch of guys who edit they seem to not really be ready to tackle the whole HDV thing). I'm sure kevin's point on file size also contributes to the problem.
