XLH1 with 50i (PAL)
Hi everyone,
I'm finally set to keep my XLH1, after sorting out some unexpected problems with it. I'm going to the Canon lab tomorrow to install the 50i chip in it so I can shoot for PAL clients as well. Has anyone done this before? What does the service center do physically? how were the results? Thanks, Yahel |

We they don't really install a pal chip. They just reprogram the camera or,and that what I think they do,the camera is already programmed to record both pal and ntsc and they just change some 0 somewhere to 1 to enable the menu.
