So it looks like the XL-H1 does in fact score high on the Resolution Chart...

http://www.videoaktiv.de magazine is the German version of http://www.dv.com magazine, so if you can't trust them, who can ya trust?? So Nick, it looks like our conclusions of what the Canon XL-H1 is about the same as the pros @ video aktiv. In fact, they came up with identical results and numbers as we did. (even though after people doubted our results you told everybody you may have been wrong....tsk tsk, stick to ya guns Nick, stick to ya guns man! *smile*) Martin goes on to say he read a report that the Panasonic HVX-200 does 750 lines, but I don't think that's correct. I beleive the HVX will do as well or better then the XL-H1....but then again who knows? We'll find out soon when we test it ourselves. - ShannonRawls.com
