My local news station has them already...
Well, apparently my local TV station got one early. I saw them shooting with it at a filmmaking workshop I was at. It looked quite nice, and the cameraman quite enjoyed filming with such a light camera.
It looks like it's getting closer and closer to release if the TV stations are starting to have them. Somehow they had an on-camera light on there that didn't appear to use it's own batteries, and a wireless mic reciever, but they may have just been hidden away on the camera. (I was seeing it from around 20-30 feet away). |

That's terrible! (Only because they have an H1 and I don't!)
;-) Could you tell if they were using SDI-out, or rolling HDV tape only?

They were rolling HDV tape. No cables, just a camera guy and his camera.
