I generally post my work in the XHA1 section and when I owned an XLH1, I would post it here but it's up to you.

Views in the Park and a short product video

I'm still learning about the camera at work. The other day I got to sneak out to the park with it to do some testing while my boss was out sick ;) I used the Panalook preset by my inspiration for this type of video Mr. Dempsey. As you can see the tripod we have is very inadequate (maybe this video will help sway him to get a decent one) as the camera is too heavy for it ,it sways in the wind, and its a $60 cheap-o from Sears anyway. Also included is a short product video I made the week prior, still learning what he wants and such. Enjoy!

You have a $9000 dollar camera mounted on a $60 tripod from sears? Yikes!

When I put mine on my lightweight Manfrotto tripod I get scared! And it's a $200 kit.

I am downloading the clips now.....will comment soon.

Peace!

yikes is right, I never leave it alone on that thing. But theres not much I can do about it, bosses choice. I tried a shot looking at the ground, the weight pulled the release plate right off the tripod :(( I never let go of that handle!

XLH1 + Transam + M2 shot by Andy Lunn

Well I had the opportunity to shoot my mates transam only thing was I had 2 hours!!! there is so much more i wanted/needed to film, but this was a tester to see how the footage would turn out, and indeed how my camera m2 held up to HD and a 25f framerate. My poor imac really does struggle with the simplest of things in HD.

Anyway have a ganders :)

ps. Watch the end, its funny or should that be expensive.!!

It looks nice, shallow DOF helps, shooting cars is a blast, just had a job, doing a video on Freelander2, that was the best job of my life!

XLH1 'Dark' Andy Lunn experiment

Well we have all seen the beautiful landscape shots from these cameras, so I thought I would try an experiment, Use the same footage but colour, grade, and alter the music to give two completley different looks and feel.

Here is my first piece I call 'Dark' I will post 'Light' when i get round to doing some editing :) Hope you like it, all feedback very appreicated, its how we all learn our craft.

cheers.

Andy Lunn
