Downconversion on the Canon XL H1
Hi Everyone,
I looked high and low for the answer to this question without any success. I found the question asked a couple of times, but never a concrete answer. Will the new XL H1 downconvert on the fly to standard DV like the Sony Z1 does? Thanks very much, Richard |

Honestly I have no idea. It wasn't mentioned in the introduction at the Canon Global Expo.

Thanks Chris
In that it has SVideo outputs I'm assuming it must have some sort of standard DV out. Be nice to know though. I guess there's a bunch of us who would like to master on HDV but have the ability to use DV for a while without the expenditure of a new editing system. |
