Anybody else going to be..
Anybody else here going to be really disapointed if Canon has not listened to us about wanting 24p? As someone who is looking to the future and requires this for future sales of a series, it will be a deal killer. As for 10-12k, I doubt may would take a xl over a P2 with varrible speed and 24p.
Seems like no camera is really giving me what we want. The P2 is close, but it would be nice to have a tape option for 720p for guys like me who shoot in Africa and out of the way places. For nature, I am drooling over the varri/frame. But as an Xl1s owner I have lots of batteries and accesories I'd like to put to use. my 2 cents. |

I'm hurting because of the price, I think it may just be out of range. $7500 would be better, but I guess this is the suggested list price.
I'm interested to hear more about this frame rate stuff, Sounds like I got what I wanted, or almost. Many of the other feature sound like the did listen, back focus (although I still have to figure out what that is) I like that I can keep my batteries, dual charger.... Be interested to see f my eos adapter works. Michael |

Yes, the EOS adapter is fully compatible. I believe the conversion factor is back to 7.2x
