Lilliput Monitor connections
I have purchased a HD 7" Lilliput field monitor for my XL H1 but cannot find in either manual what the correct connections are. The XL H1 does not have a HDMI output socket so I assume it will be one or more of the BNC's. The Lilliput has 6 BNC sockets marked Y in, V1, V2, Pb, Py, A in. Does anyone know what goes where please? (!)
Many thanks. Colin Brown |

Colin
According to the camera manual, the camera comes suppled with a component cable which can be used to connect the camera to the monitor using the Y, Pb and Pr terminals (page 101). |

Re: Lilliput Monitor connections
I had a friend who had this monitor and he returned it. He was told that it didn't have the necessary connection for his camera. Different from yours, he had the Canon XHA1s

Re: Lilliput Monitor connections
Thank you for the reply.
I have actually managed to solve the problem. It always helps to put your glasses on! I found that the Video In/Out BNC connector under the cover beside the battery has a toggle switch. Hey presto I now have a fully functional 7" HD monitor screen! |

Re: Lilliput Monitor connections
we use the lilliput monitor for a 'viewfinder' when on our Dana Dolly.
Althought not the best....for $200.00 is fine as a VIEWFINDER to frame shots. We do use the component cable on the H1...and feed the monitor RGB signal.
