XLH1 firmware update ... ? at DVinfo.net

Has anyone managed to get their hands on the XLH1 firmware update that came out a couple of months ago? I've emailed Canon Professional twice now and received no reply. I don't want to schlep down to the service center in OC.

Any thoughts on where I might download it?

Yup. Here's an email I have managed to shoehorn out of Canon USA which is a bummer because I think by "Europe" they mean the 25p version:

"Dear Harry Bromley-Davenport:

Thank you for your inquiry. We value you as a Canon customer and
appreciate the opportunity to assist you. We are sorry that you are
unable to find an update for the XLH1.

I know how frustrating this must be for you. I have checked for you and
evidently it is only for camcorders that are being used in Europe.
Currently there is not a firmware update for your camcorder.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please let us know if we can
be of any further assistance with your XLH1.
