Canon's Next Large Chipper

Does anyone know if Canon will be having their next digital big sensor video-camera anytime soon?
Something like the Sony FS100/F3 or PannyAF100?

Yes. Someone who works for Canon knows this, but you can be sure they aren't telling until its ready. :)

That one is not designed to go up against the FS100. It's aimed at the F3 and the Scarlet. With a street price north of $15,000.00 usd.

The OP did include the F3 in the list.

Pretty hard to put those 2 in the same league though. Price and/or performance wise. On a side note if there were an EOS adapter or a good selection of Sony lenses for the FS100 I would buy one today. By this time next year I bet there will be both and Canon hopefully will answer with their own version. Maybe a C30...

Re: Canon's Next Large Chipper

I think there's plenty of discussion about the C300 in it's own forum--let's take it over there.
