Shoulder Strap

Does anyone know where I can find a shoulder strap for the XLH1? I misplaced mine years back, but might actually need it now.

Alternatively are there any other straps that people use out there (needs to be pretty strong I guess as the camera will be rigged out with a number of extra accessories).

Thanks!

Re: Shoulder Strap

What situation are you in that you need it? I don't want to shoot myself in the foot here for the future, but I have one for mine in a drawer. I didn't think I'd ever use and would be happy to give it to you if you'd pay all the shipping and associated fees.

Re: Shoulder Strap

Hi Paul,

Yeah I think I put mine in a drawer a few years back too! I've moved house a few times and it must have been thrown out somewhere along the line (I had never even attached it to the camera, not even once as I always carry by the top handle, and didn't like the idea of the strap rattling against the camera when the camera was up on my shoulder).

I am hopefully starting a new contract soon doing hunting videos: I posted a thread about it over in the "Taking care of business section", have a look:

But essentially I will be in the field for long periods and trekking on foot for full days through rough terrain, up hills, through bush and forest, in and out of canoes etc. I figured I'd need to use both my hands at certain points, but I'll have to be traveling light (and wont be able to slow people down); in other words I need a strap!

If you were keen to sell your old strap then I'd be very happy to pay you the right amount for it. Thanks!
