Weird Audio glitch in PrProCS3
Hey, Just was wondering what could be going on here. I have an XL-H1a
I captured my 1080i/24 footage in premiere with the 1080p/24 option. I know according to canon, the editing software doesn't think that deeply about the interlaced 24 frames and "believes it" to be 24p. That being said, Randomly at times when I am previewing things I have chopped up, the audio will cut out for anywhere from 2-5 seconds. If i go back and replay the same place where it happens....it plays fine. It is a very random occurrence. The video does not skip, or jump when it happens....its almost as if I hit the mute button on my keyboard. Any ideas? |

nothin
Hate to bring this thread back from the dead, but no one seemed to give any replies. I have another project I am working on, and though it is not world ending, i really would like to fix this weird problem.

Even though I use 25p material your problem sounds exactly what I am experiencing; when I start editing all is fine but after 30 min. to an hour the sound stops randomly during playback. After I restart my pc or adobe it's fine again for a while. Also, the more complex the timeline is the sooner the sound drop-out appears.
This appears to be because of a memoryleak premiere pro cs3 is known for, could be that having a 64bit system and lot's of memory might delay or prevent the problem but on my 32bit xp pro system with "only" 4gig of memory it's something I have to live with. |
