No Audio when importing through Final Cut Pro
Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around for awhile and have been trying to find an answer, but haven't had any luck. I'm using Final Cut Pro and have been unsuccessful in importing the audio part of the video, but the video is fine. Is there something I'm missing when doing this? Thanks in advance! Open the Log and Capture window (Command 8) and click the Clip Settings tab. Make sure the Audio box is checked, and reflects the correct number of channels. Also, in the Capture Settings tab, make sure your settings are correct (PAL vs NTSC etc)

FCP - no sound playback while in capture mode
Also, unless something has changed, when capturing video in FCP there is an funny quirk in that you can't hear the audio while it is capturing. I don't know why that is, I have been using FCP since 2002 and it has always been that way. The first time we tried to capture something we thought the sound wasn't capturing.
So that might be your non-problem as well. Anyone out there know why that is? |
