May I expand this thread a bit? I have used Cokin P series filters for years with the XL-2 and XLH-1, and the problem with them is if you are shooting toward light (eg. the sun), any tiny scratch or dust mote shows up in your pans. Resin filters, the most affordable ones, are all prone to that problem, and I suspect that contrast filters are no exception. So I would ask as well, does anyone know of a maker of glass filters that fit the Cokin Series of holders?

Tiffen Low Con filter
Peter
I used a Tiffen 1/8 low con filter with XH A1. The sample footage can be seen at the link below. I would recommend purchasing a 1/8 or a 1/4 any high grade and the image could get muddy in compression. The Barn Cheers David H Castillo Director of Photography Blue Barn Pictures, Inc.
