why QT output at 1920 x 1080 ?
Just got my A1 and sofar really really excited. Took some time to get it to
capture HDV but got there. My QT output files is displaying in 1920 x 1080 format. I have no clue why. Can anyone tell/explain this? Video settings in FCP:- Sequence Preset 1080i50 Capture preset: HDV Device control preset: HDV Firewire (is that the right one or shud it be the 1080i50 fw basic?) Sequence settings in FCP: frame size 1440 x 1080 aspect ratio HD (1440x1080) (16:9) Pixel Aspect Ration: Anamorphic unticked Field: Upper Domi QT Video settings: HDV 1080i50 (at 100 pct). Thank you for any thoughts. |

The size of the pixels in HDV is 1.33 :1 so though you're shooting 1440 by 1080 the actual size is 1920 by 1080. that's why the quicktime output is that size.
