Best skin tone preset
I shoot with all black background and changed Coring to 1 and Sharpness to 3. Shot at 1080i with Gamma as Normal. As a long time XL1s shooter the film turned out ok. There were spots I should have run the f stop up and it was a bit dark but overall ok. I have the 6x lens and want to squeeze more 'pop' out of the product in terms of clarity. Skin tone looks only ok and after reading about skin tone tweak I'm not sure this is way to go. I run with 3 500 watt softboxes and a couple 250 watt bulbs. I get little to no bounce as I have a black background and light are arranged in front. Not a great deal of panning. Thinking about testing at 30p. I move around the set a lot. Any suggestions on preset changes appreciated. BTW I am in good shape but thought I tore my right bicep at the end after 200 minutes of filming over the day (with about 50 breaks for stills). I drop the camera a lot for POV and bring it back up. Haven't weighed it but I think it is twice the XL1 weight.
