Rattle from Veiw finder
Could somebody please check if when the the view finder is shaken there is a small rattle noise coming from inside the area of the view finder focusing ring. I had the camera mounted on the back of a suzuki jeep and could hear the rattle as we went along a bumpy forest road. I am not sure if I developed a fault or if the losseness is normal. Everything works ok

Yes. I have the color finder detached at present and when I shake it there is a rattle and you can fell something moving slightly internally. The rattle is not extremely loud, but it is definitely there.

Willard,
Many thanks for that, I was fairly sure it was ok but was just a bit concerned. I have checked the recorded footage, the noise was not recorded. Regards Mick |

It's not a problem. It's normal. There are moving elements inside the EVF diopter which rattle if shaken.
