Portable DTE Recorder vs. mini HDV tape
Is there any difference in quality between footage shot on mini HDV tapes vs. a DTE recorder like Firestore's FS-4Pro HD?
Capturing footage is bottlenecking my flow and I was hoping to drag & drop. I'm shooting in 24F on my H1. |

There is no difference in image quality. The ideal situation is to record to both tape and FireStore at the same time. The tape is your back-up copy and your archive. The FireStore is your edit-ready copy.
