25p

Hi I am about to shoot a wedding, I was thinking about using 25p mode using my Canon XHA1. I have always used 50i mode but I hate those interlacing lines. Has anybody tried shooting a wedding in 25p mode? What is the outcome like?

Hi Peter,

I like the 25F mode very much in most situations.
But you need to be very careful (slow) with rapid movements like panning when "everything" is moving in the picture. I will seldom use 50i any more.
Vertical resolution will decrease a bit but there is plenty to take from. Give it a try. I don't see any problem with weddings regarding 25F. /Johan

PS. Do you know how to ride camels?
