70~200 f2.8 IS on XL2
Hallo Forum,
It's wonderfull to use 70~200 f2.8 IS, but the view finder is not clear (poor lit ) even the video too in broad day light.Though 20XL lens is 5.4~108mm f1.6- 3.6 at 108 with full open it's almost 1step slow to f2.8, yet why I'm getting reading of f11 1/125 at broad day light, where as with 20XL the reading is f11 1/500. Is it b'cause of XL2 is PAL? Ashok Mansur |

Ashok,
are you sure you are using the same gain setting with both lenses? If so, try a 18% grey card when metering the light and make sure that the grey card fills the frame. You should get the same meter reading with both lenses set at f11 (or any other f-stop for that matter). The fact that your camera is a PAL camera doesn't effect the f-stop/exposure time when changing lenses.
