Where NOT to buy a XL-2

Hi all,

In response to the Sticky Post by Chris (now closed), last week I came across a "too good to be true" XL-2 and fantastic gear on craigslist. If you like caveat emptor sagas in real time, here's the post:

BTW, some time ago I bought my XL-2 from someone on ebay, but it was a local "cash over the barrel head" arrangement after first checking out the camera in person.

There are some good deals to be had on Ebay..we purchased 2 legit xl2's from ebay. Both were used but there were in new like condition far less then new price (2500 area)
