'cp' flashing on xl2
Can anybody tell me how to get rid of a 'CP' thats flashing near the centre of the monitor on my xl2. I tried out a shotgun mic on the accessory shoe but removed it again and am now back with the supplied mic. These letters keep flashing when I am recording (or paused) despite not having anything installed in the shoe.
Thanks for any help, Stan. |

The "CP" indicator is for the Custom Preset settings. You can specify a preset configuration of sharpness, coring, hue, knee, etc. and save it as a preset setting. You can save three different settings if I remember correctly.
Anyways, use the "custom presete on/off" and "custom preset select" buttons located directly under the handle to toggle the CP's on and off, and select which one you want to use. If CP is blinking, it means you are in CP selection mode, and need to select it for it to stop blinking. If you dont understand my crappy explanation, read the part in the user's manual on "custom presets", it explains it all there. |
