General XL2 shooting question
I shot "Santa" last night with my XL2. I had the camera preset with the "Documentary" setting I found on this forum. I uploaded it to metacafe where they compress it before displaying. I record on a FS-4 as an avi type 2 file. The clip was 40mb before metacafe reduced it.
I am new at shooting. This is only my 5th project. I'm still "practicing" so that I can one day provide a "professional" video to web service. My question is, can you guys see anything that I should change on my camera to get better results for the web? If you need more info to answer this, please ask. Thank you for your help. The video is here: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/320731..._santa_clause/

I don't see really anything that needs to be changed with the presets in the camera. The only thing I would suggest is finding away to make the camera more steady. There are several options available from a Monopod, Steadystick, down to practice. That's the only thing that I would work on for what this clip is.
Don't know if this is the kind of feedback that your looking for or not... take it or leave it, that's just my 2 cents worth. Kevin |
