Audio Cable for XL2 onboard mic plus wireless at DVinfo.net

Has anybody made a lead (that was discussed here http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...ight=built+mic)
that will enable them to use the onboard mic of the XL2 (plugged into one of the XLR sockets) along with another mic into the other XLR socket?

If so, what were the results? Were there any promlems combining the left and right signals into mono?

Where did you get your adaptors, how did you wire the XLR? Is the minijack definitely for power?
