XL2 vs. Panasonic DVX100B
I recently came across the XL2 and by the looks of it it stopped me from buying the 100B, i was wondering the pros and cons of the XL2 and how it compares to the 100B. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

XL2 Pros:
Native 16:9 Lens options Less noisy image than DVX More detailed image (higher-res CCD's) XL2 cons: Weight / size (for some uses that's a problem, others not) |

Pros:
Interchangeable lense Custom Presets 24p and 30p recording Native 16:9 aspect ratio recording 20x Zoom lens (stock) Extremely customizable image control (knee, blacks, ‘cine’ look, RGB, etc) XLR audio inputs with the option to add another XLR adaptor for 4 XLR inputs. Gain control on audio Audio control in general is great. Con: Crappy EVF Viewender. What you see is what you wont get. Clippage occurs. No fold out LCD screen. Front weight can be an issue for some, especially handheld operators. Can only store 3 custom presets on camera. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...&modelid=10350 |
